Into my brain

I've pondered life, time and time again and it never stops surprising me. Just when you think you know what's going to happen... BAM... a complete one-eighty happens and you back in a different place from where you want to be. I've figured out that when I try and control my life it glances back at me saying, "Na na na na na, you can't catch me." Life isn't about controlling it, it's about living it; rolling with the punches, exploring new frontiers, and being curious. Now I'm not saying that one should go out and try everything. Some things should be left to the unknown. We should stop trying to control our life because it's no fun and frankly it's way too complicated. Just know God knows what's going to happen. He's got His agenda and it never falters. Just think about that next time you try and tell Him what's best for you.

My Family Away From Home

This morning at HOPE choir, I had a really amazing experience. During rehearsing our choreography, one of the girls hurt her ankle really bad so she went and laid down while three people took care of her. Tonight we have a performance and need all the people we can get so it got some of us worried. When rehearsals were over, everyone stayed without be asked. Some offered to carry her home and others helped gather up her stuff. One of the boys and Brother McAffee were asked to give a blessing. So we all sat as a family as she was blessed. The spirit was so strong. I had to fight myself so I didn't cry, others lost that battle. During the blessing that Brother McAffee gave, the thought came to my mind that this was my family away from home. I've always thought that but to have the spirit testify to my the significance of this choir in my life to me was really awesome. Thanks my experiences in HOPE choir I didn't drop out of college my first semester, I didn't go into a dark depression my second semester, and this semester it's been the guiding angels I need. I love HOPE!
